Modern TTS voices are very natural for short gaming callouts and reactions. Longer messages may sound slightly synthesized depending on the voice model. Most teammates assume you have an unusual mic or accent — not that you're using AI.
Is typing fast enough for competitive games?
For callouts ("left", "behind you", "one low"), yes — you can type 3-5 words faster than you think. EchoDeck also supports preset phrases bound to hotkeys for instant callouts without typing. Set up your most common callouts and trigger them with one key.
Does it violate any game's terms of service?
